1998
Kenneth began his professional journey at the Uganda Electricity Board as a Technician Trainee, building a foundation in distribution planning, transformer testing, asset management, and field operations across the Kampala Metropolitan area.
2001-2005
By 2001 he had advanced into engineering service leadership for Kampala Metropolitan and, after the formation of UEDCL, moved into district-level responsibility in Rukungiri as Engineering Service Assistant and later District Manager.
2005-2008
At Umeme, Kenneth managed district operations in Rukungiri before moving to head office as Coordinator for Three Phase Large and Medium Customers, overseeing planning, monitoring, and loss management for key customer accounts.
2009-2017
His wider engineering path covered the Bujagali-Kawanda 220kV transmission project, rural electrification work in Uganda and Rwanda, business management responsibilities, and network supervision in the Masindi, Biiso, and Buliisa areas.
2017-Present
Since March 2017 Kenneth has served in successive UEDCL leadership roles across Kagadi, Anaka, and Kotido, progressing to Senior Officer Area Manager in April 2025 while also pursuing embedded systems study at Gearbox Academy Kenya and MSc studies in HSE Management.
